Cells are so tiny in order to store all the material needed in order to Make up an organism. The major difference between eukaryotes and prokaryotes is that the eukaryotes have a nucleus while the prokaryotes don't. One thing they have in common is the fact that they have Dna material which make up every living thing. I also learned the the building blocks of anything are subs which make up the bigger thing.

Well there weren't any questions. But I learned about a cell and the structures inside of it. The cells couldn't be seen until the microscopes were invented. There are optical and electron microscopes, the optical microscope uses light. There are Eukaryotic and Prokaryotic cells, Prokaryotic have no nucleus (Bacteria and Archea). Eukaryotic is the opposite. All of them has genetic material and ribosomes. The cells might be different but are similar by having structures inside of them that make them work. Without these there wouldn't be anything living. These cells make up life.

1) Cells are known to be small because of the process of diffusion; in order to keep the volume relatively the same, they have to increase the surface area. Not to mention, all of the material for the cell has to be able to fit inside of it

Cells are really small because the size of a cell allows diffusion to happen a lot faster and easier. Through this process oxygen and other essential molecules can pass very easily through the cell walls. Also, the cell size allows their organelles to fit. Prokaryotic cells do not have a nucleus while eukaryotic cells do. Prokaryotic cells are usually single celled organisms while eukaryotic cells make up tissues. All cells have cell membranes, ribosomes, DNA, and cytosol. I learned that the chromosomes within the nucleus produce ribosomes. I learned that the building blocks of proteins are ribosomes. I also learned that microtubules provide structural support.

Cells are very tiny because material inside it such as DNA has to be able to fit the cell. Prokaryotic cells lack nucleus while eukaryotic cells do. Prokaryotic cells are commonly bacteria and archea while eukaryotic cells are bigger such as plants, animals, and fungus. Prokaryotic cells are also smaller and simpler while eukaryotic are the opposite. Both cells have nucleic material (DNA), a cell membrane, and ribosomes. In this video I learned about the nucleolus. I don't remember talking about that important detail in the nucleus. I also learned about the vesicle and the vacuole.

Cells are very small because of diffusion. Carbon dioxide and oxygen take a long time to pass through a cell but if the distance is more like the cells, the time will be shorter. Also the inside of the cell has to be able to fit.
